Mike Hyde was feeding his son Cach the oil through his gastronomy tube, unbeknown to the doctors, to alleviate the pain of his son during chemotherapy.
Father says, that his son stopped eating after the first high-dose chemo and he felt worse and worse.
This terrible ordeal for the family Hyde began in May last year. Brain tumor was found when Cash was 20 months by radiologists at Community Medical Center in Missoula, Mont., then the child was placed in intensive care unit.
Cash was eventually diagnosed with a primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET) which is a malignant tumor of the central nervous system that spreads easily. Cash went through three stages high-dose chemotherapy with stem cell rescue, but the results were disastrous, and parents decided to step in.

At the end of September the child was not able to take food even through his G-tube because his stomach was burned with drugs and the doctor said that nothing more could be done, a child is getting all the necessary.
Therefore, Hyde decided to begin administering 3 milligrams of marijuana oil through his son's G-tube. After 6 courses of chemotherapy Cash got worse. He went into septic shock, he had a stroke and suffered pulmonary hemorrhaging. He was on life support for 40 days and in a medically-induced coma. But marijuana oil in his body helped him heal. He walked out of the ICU in mid-December. Doctors called it 'Christmas miracle.' "
